Martin West is a Director in the firm's Risk and Compliance Services (RCS) Group. Martin’s experience includes serving clients in the manufacturing, insurance (life & health and property & casualty), banking, and entertainment industries. He has over 10 years of public accounting experience in both statutory and GAAP financial statement audits, as well as compliance and advisory experience related to internal audit, SOX and JSOX compliance and bank compliance.
Martin has played an integral role in numerous Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and JSOX audits, including NAIC risk-focused examinations, compliance, and SSAE 16 audits. These projects include evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls, identifying risks and providing value-added recommendations to improve operational performance.
Additionally, Martin has managed the implementation of the Blackline Tasks and Reconciliations modules.
