Josh Thomas

Josh Thomas is a Manager in the State & Local Tax Group. With nearly 10 years of experience, Josh specializes in providing consulting services in a variety of industries such as financial services, personal services, and technology.

Josh’s areas of service encompass multi-state tax planning, nexus studies involving sales tax and income/franchise tax reviews, state due diligence reviews, and general consulting. He also has experience in service areas such as, partnership withholding and composite filings, audit defense, and voluntary disclosure agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh was with the SALT group at a mid-size public accounting firm where he provided general state & local tax compliance and consulting services. Prior to that, he spent many years as a tax auditor for a department of revenue where he focused on audits of sales & use tax, franchise & excise tax, and business tax.
