Samuel Karan

Samuel Karan is a Staff I within EisnerAmper Digital. Samuel provides business process and IT control testing services to government agencies as well as public and private companies primarily within the financial services sector. Samuel assists in all elements involved in the execution of technology risk engagements, including client proposals, walkthroughs, and reporting. Additionally, Samuel has experience working with international clients to ensure compliance with CFIUS regulations.

Samuel primarily performs ITGC testing within Workiva and is skilled at building dashboards to provide clients with quick insights into their engagement’s state of work. He has obtained 3 Workiva certifications in configuring and using the Workiva platform to deliver effective controls management solutions to clients.

Samuel recognizes the importance of professional development and leads internal meetings dedicated to pursuing continuing education. He is currently working towards obtaining the Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) Certification. Additionally, Samuel has collaborated with members of the EA Tech Risk team to develop training materials for new staff.

Prior to joining the firm, Samuel worked within the fields of retail and healthcare; gaining valuable experience in front-line management, high-pressure situations, positive customer service, and in procedures used to accurately enter and protect sensitive customer information.
