Brian Hardenberg is a Senior Manager within the firm's Risk and Compliance Services (RCS) practice and has nearly 10 years of experience in the internal audit and compliance space.
Brian works with both public and private companies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, including governance, operational, strategic, reporting, and compliance risks, while advising on opportunities to enhance the internal control environment. Brian serves a variety of clients in varying industries, including financial services and legal. He is responsible for leading projects to develop and implement internal control frameworks and develop test programs to assess the designs & operating effectiveness of internal controls.
Brian regularly interacts with the client's senior and executive management, promoting efficiencies and facilitating collaboration throughout each engagement.
In addition to his internal audit experience, Brian is responsible for performing enterprise-wide risk assessments to assist clients in developing and executing internal audit plans.
