Shaquan Williams is a Manager in the Financial Advisory Services Group with a focus on bankruptcy and restructuring. Shaq provides restructuring and investigative advisory services to distressed companies, unsecured creditors, senior lenders, and trustees in the middle-market environment. He also previously provided audit services to a variety of industries, including real estate manufacturing and distribution and employee benefit 401(k) pension plans.

Shaq has experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, with a primary focus on assisting debtors in Chapter 11 and Subchapter 5 cases. His expertise spans a diverse range of industries, including real estate, construction, non-profit organizations, hospitality (particularly hotels), manufacturing, and financial services. Leveraging deep industry knowledge and comprehensive financial acumen, Shaq guides clients through complex bankruptcy filings and restructuring processes, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment to achieve optimal outcomes. His role involves detailed financial analysis, preparation of filings, and strategic advisory to navigate the intricacies of bankruptcy proceedings effectively.

Shaq is one of EisnerAmper’s lead Diversity Equity & Inclusion advocates, advising the firm’s executive leadership and fellow council members on emerging trends and needs identified by region, industry, or business segment. Within the firm’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), he is the co-chair of the Black Employee Network (BEN). BEN strives to build an environment that fosters and promotes inclusivity and creativity for all group members by providing a new light into the public accounting profession, valuing individuals, encouraging their development, and rewarding their performance. Shaq also assists and consults with the firm’s Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Management, Learning and Development, Business Development, and Client Experience teams on internal communications regarding action plan priorities.

As Vice President of the NABA Inc. NABA Northern New Jersey Chapter, Shaq works with NABA Inc. and firm recruiting teams, focusing on areas such as recruitment, retention, and development opportunities, in addition to campus visits, career fairs, and firm networking events. He is also an active member of the firm’s audit staff committee, facilitates the internal training and mentoring of staff and participates in the firm’s recruitment of new employees.
